While attending John Carroll University, Umberto P. Fedeli started providing insurance for small businesses for a local agency.
Umberto became a partner in a firm that later became The Fedeli Group on the Westside of Cleveland.
Umberto hired his first associate who worked in the Employee Benefits Division.
Umberto obtained the business from his partner and changed the name to The Fedeli Group.
The Fedeli Group moved to Independence, Ohio.
The Fedeli Group launched its first website to highlight the business. The printed newsletter, TrendSetter was also established.
The Fedeli Group launched its first publication called, Fedeli Factor, which highlights clients and business updates from the year.
The Fedeli Group acquired a neighboring business, KAZ Company, to help them expand its Medicare specialty.
The Fedeli Group acquired Aviation Risk Management Associates (ARMA) in Illinois, which has been renamed to TFG Aviation Risk Management.
