Do you know what your insurance contract actually covers? Often, construction insurance policy terms and conditions are misunderstood or overlooked—and this causes a false sense of security. As you expand your scope of work, it’s critical to work with a team that diligently crafts construction insurance coverages to protect your balance sheet.
General Liability & Umbrella: Understanding the difference between an insurance policy and a contract is critical for our Construction clients. What starts as an insurance policy becomes a contract when a claim arises—making it imperative to ensure these policies/contracts are written properly.
In addition, the Umbrella/Excess insurance marketplace is evolving rapidly, with significant changes in capacity and pricing. Our Construction specialists are here to review your contracts and negotiate Umbrella/Excess coverage to protect your balance sheet.
Alternative Risk Solutions & Captives: The insurance landscape is transforming, and staying ahead with innovative, tailored solutions is essential. Our team has deep expertise in Alternative Risk Solutions, including:
We help clients leverage these advanced tools to manage risk and optimize financial outcomes.
Sub-contractor Default Insurance (SDI): Sub-contractor Default Insurance is gaining traction among General Contractors with substantial sub-contractor exposures. This innovative product provides protection but requires a strong foundation: a best-in-class prequalification process for sub-contractors.
We assist clients in developing robust processes for underwriting and selecting sub-contractors to ensure successful project execution and risk mitigation.
Contractors Professional & Pollution Liability: From Construction Managers to full Design-Build projects, we specialize in Contractors Professional and Pollution Liability coverage. Whether you need project-specific placements or annual practice policies, we provide tailored solutions.
Given the variability in coverage forms across carriers, we ensure you understand what’s in your policy and how it protects your operations.
