Join us for an overview of HIPAA's Privacy and Security Rules. During this webinar we will review how HIPAA applies to employer-sponsored group health plans, including which plans are subject to HIPAA and what to do when there is a breach of protected health information (PHI).

This webinar helps satisfy HIPAA’s training requirements for members of an employer’s HIPAA workforce who handle PHI as part of their job duties. We encourage all employers with self-insured group health plans or those with fully insured plans that create, maintain, or receive PHI attend. While many employers with fully insured health plans have limited obligations under HIPAA with respect to those fully insured plans, plans such as health FSAs and Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRAs) are considered self-insured and therefore subject to HIPAA’s Privacy Rule, with limited exceptions.
