Harry Brownfield, Jr. heads the Employee Benefits Insurance Division of The Fedeli Group. Harry oversees each group plan, from establishment to daily service. Harry has been with The Fedeli Group since 1983.

Harry's previous work experiences as a field underwriter and later as an account representative and supervisor have given him the management skills and insurance background to operate his division efficiently while providing a consistent high level of service to Fedeli Group clients.

The approach to managing a client's benefit plan is done on a consultative approach. Substantial communication occurs between The Fedeli Group and the client involving employee communications and strategy, periodic review of actual plan utilization in comparison to expected results. Emphasis is given to a proactive approach to adjusting the plan to deal with adverse experience results on an ongoing basis, not just at plan renewal. Normative data is also used to provide comparative information for clients. Legislative updates and pending legislative acts are reviewed with Fedeli clients on a periodic basis.

Harry spends a significant amount of time with our strategic partners, the health carriers. Information on industry trends and other ongoing issues and concerns are discussed. Periodic meetings with management and underwriters allow direct access to decision makers. This access allows us to be advocates for our clients.

His professional affiliations include being a member of the MMO Agents Advisor Board, Aetna Agents Advisory Council, United Health Care Advisory Board, and a Registered Health Underwriter. Harry serves his community as on officer in his church and works with several local charities. He attended the University of South Carolina in conjunction with the United States Marine Corps Officer Program. He resides in Avon, Ohio with his wife Mary and 5 children.
